The comm system gurgled for a mounted, and sounded as though a Craissi Lizard was trying to break out of the speakers. The noise faded as quickly as it had materialized.

"This is the freighter Growler on a mission of mercy for the nearby star ...

The Commodore frowned, his reptilian features drawing in distrust.

"Thisss will only end in tears," he hissed as if to himself.

"Instruct the Fireclaw to dash to intercept, and bring the Pelsiosaur with her. The unknowns aren't single warships, so we won't need to prove our skill there."

OK, this battle was resolved using SFB. Future battles may be done with FedCom or the fast resolution system, but SFB is my game of choice. Note, the FA campaign engine will support both (and Starmada).

Yeah, I used a diluted paint wash, then did some highlights in diluted white paint to make the center columns pop. The details were done in space-wolves grey and boltgun metal.
