I like the cloaking better in SFB. In FC it seems more like a stealth technology.

I like reading the battle reports that are posted around here. They give me ideas and are entertaing. Do you have a short report of your best game ever?

I've read the other posts about cloaking and how to defeat cloaking ships.
My question is- Is there really that much of a tactical advantage to cloaking? With energy sparce and races like the Federation and the Hydran closing in to get in your face-where does the cloak come in?

I like the Romulans because of the challange of cloaking tactics. I'm just not that great at it. I've read other posts concerning cloaking tactics and I'm still not convinced if cloaking is worth all the problems. (This topic could probably be addressed in another thread)

I've never played FedCom and its been along time since ive played SFB. Unfortunatly I work on Saturdays. Its great to know there are others in my area that are interested. Maybe something can be arranged in the future to get together with you guys.
