This is an odd post. I bought Stellar Shadow journal #1 from E-23 (now warehouse 23) back in 2013. Was it withdrawn at some point and is now being re-issued?

Hi guys,

My primary interest in SFB is the early and middle years 'cruisers in space'. I have no interest in fighters or pf's. I have Y1-3 modules and the early years annexes, as well as advanced missions and R10. Are there any other modules which cover the early/middle years?

Jean, that's fair enough. I just detected a hint of indignation in Steve's reply to my "20 years out of print" post. As a (relative) stranger to the site, I didn't know that mentioning the point formula was taken as meaning the sfb formula. I just thought that the thread title would have conveyed ...

Well that may be the case, but in a thread about battlewagon, a stranger to the site (as I basically am), in the absence of any clarification, would assume the question was about battlewagon, hmmm?

Somebody was asking about (and somebody else was talking about) the BPV formula for SFB. That's what I was answering. Does Battlewagon HAVE point values? I don't have a clue. Never played it or even read it.

Nobody in THIS thread mentioned SFB at all. I was the only one to mention the point value ...

We are talking about battlewagon, hence the thread title.

I guess we all have a Doh!!! moment.

I still have the forumula, but still see exactly the same reason to never release it. (Bootleg ships could then have official BPVs.) If anybody buys the company (which will cost you about a million dollars) I'll show them the formula.

The formula used in a game 20 years out of print is still a ...
