CL#5 is also not very legible, but I don't have an old version ...

Hi Steve,
Thanks, I'll contact Leanna.
Just for completeness, I downloaded the newest version of CL#1 (released 4/4/2012) from e23, and it has the same readability issue. The version I downloaded back in February works fine. The earlier one was produced by "Adobe Acrobat 6.02 Image Conversion Plug ...

Text difficult to read on iPad
I purchased CL#5 from e23, and noticed the text is quite difficult to read on the iPad and the "Preview" program that's part of Mac OS X. Here's a screenshot:

But the text appears fine using Adobe Reader:

Hi,
After several busy months, I'm ready to start on my NCA. I'm wondering where the impulse engines and shuttle bay are supposed to be located. Do most of you follow the configuration used in this photo from marcus_aurelius's post in the painting examples subforum?
Thanks,
-Mike

Fed NCA/NCL question
I purchased Fed Fleet Box #1 (0200), and noticed the saucers of the NCA and NCL vary in height going from port to starboard. Specifically, the port side of the saucer is about 1mm tall, while the starboard side is 2mm tall.
I'm just wondering if this is normal, or whether I received a dud ...
