One could shorten the pylons slightly, (depending on how they attach to the engineering hull) to get them a little closer to the image djdood posted. (You're quite right, djdood, I hadn't noticed that.)
Mind you, we could argue that the SFU Connie class is not the exact same ship as the Trek ship ...
