Module H

I've been looking for larger hex boards and counters as a halfway house to going down the Miniatures route. I have found Module W on the site (after some hunting as it wasn't where I expected)
Does Module H still exist at all for SFB, or is it defunct / subsumed into other products?

Thanks

Right, well we did get this game done so I thought I would come back and describe it.

We had one 'not played for 15years', one player with one game under their belt and one with two plus myself running the B10.

I threw down some asteroids, a couple of mines and a planet or two to break up the ...

While the ACTASF game is faster than either SFB or Fed Comm (our group can play a 12 on 12 battle in about 2 hours), it still takes 2 to 3 times as long to fight an ACTASF battle as it does an ACTA: NA / ACTA:B5 battle with an equal number of units on each side.
That surprises me - we had played a ...

Im still eagerly awaiting the line's continuation - as a Hydran nut I cannot wait to see how you have translated Hellbores on a single shield system.

Unfortunately, Tholian Webs have been a real sticking point...
I see what you did there
they are about to undergo a 3rd major revision, but i ...

OK, there's some things to work on there, thanks.

So the aim of the scenario is really another introduction - to give them bigger ships to play with and more things to think about/choices to make.

I will be operating the B10 as well as running the impulses and DAC - and the aim will be for that ...

Hunting the Bismark

I am currently introducing (and re-introducing in some cases) SFB to players at my games club.
The first game went well enough to interest people for another game and to grab some observers.
I did the first game with smaller ships (Police-Frigate scale - OK Ok there was an F5 too) and for the next ...

I would raise one note here. The use of squadrons for moving and firing crops up in other Call to Arms engine based games and it really doesn't cause heavy issues on initiative and those effects get bigger the larger the disparity in manoeuvre units on the table. The main one being the initiative ...

To clarify, I was saying that ships which have equal shields in all six facings (such as the 30-30-30-30-30-30 setup on a King Eagle) would not have a need for such a rule, since the #2 shield already has the same strength in FC as the #1 shield.

Design it out. Assume that the shield rating is ...

Ah the ever present 'too many jobs - too little time', as I look around my lab at the list expierments on the to do list I understand that.

So who holds the cattle prod for getting things on your 'odd jobs' list :)

Slightly reviving an old topic - how easy would it be to drop said Battlecards into a file on one of the playing card print on demand people like artscow or similar for people to buy off copies as they want to....

Is the original in an older format that won't readily transfer, or are such site ...
