Ah I see. So there are no scouts in FC.

That sucks.

and it seems that even the borders of madness play test rules lack the ability to control friendly drones, which also sucks. :(

Im looking at the FC RR and I see no reference to scout channels and special sensors even being available for FC.

Did I miss something here?

Phasor caps

Do phasors have capacitors in FC?

Meaning if I charged them the previous turn, but did not fire them, are they still charged or do I need to pay to re charge them?

If they are color and on card stock, I can always buy laminate sheets at wally world and laminate them myself. So Im down with that.

I didn't vote because nothing applies. I think the pre laminated color card stock cards are worth more then we pay now. So I don't know what these would be worth ...

I vote #3 with the caveat that you stick a few green Orion slave girls on a raft and float them my way. :D

But you asked our opinions, and thats my honest one.

I just love the cards as they are. Call me old fashioned, but I just love em.

I have been buying yer stuff for 25 years and I don't think a format change will make me quit doing that. I will be disappointed if I cant get the full color pre ...

I'm Old fashioned I guess.

I Much prefer a good old fashioned Book, with a nice color cover that I can hold in my hands.

As for SSD cards, I absolutely LOVE the Pre laminated color card stock.

Having the actual ADB made cards just makes them more special some how.

Sort of like Collecting ...

Actually, I would be happy with JUST the CA, CL, DD, FF for the frax as hard cards.

I could Not care less about cloaks or anything more complex. To me, The frax would never be anything more then speed bumps.

In a galactic conquest/expansion campaign setting, they would be useful for representing ...

I always thought of the Basic SFU CA as the enterprise we first saw kirk take command of. According to trek cannon, the conny underwent a major refit either during or after season one. which I have always thought of as the SFU CA+. The TOS enterprise underwent several big refits. Which to me were ...

Re: An Early Years Campaign system. And early ships.

Set in the time period either right before or just after the introduction of the constitution class.

I have always thought of the first un refitted constitution CA for SFU to be based on the Kirk era TOS Conny. But the ship and its class had been around for a few years before Kirk took command ...

Why do the Klingons, lyrans, Seltorians, Vudar all have basically the same Badge, with just a few modifications?

An Early Years Campaign system. And early ships.

I'm not referring to the Era of Lasers and Nuclear missiles. That would require a whole new set of charts and rules for the new (well, Old new) weapons.

I would love to see an early year’s module. Set in the time period either right before or just after the introduction of the constitution class ...

I think that the FC rules will make you love andros and wish that they had been the SFB rules to start with (kind of like the ESG rules).

I actually had no problems with the SFB ESG rules. I think they suited SFB well. but then, this is FC, and what I have seen so far, I like the ESG rules for FC ...
