So I just got a copy of the Basic Set off of eBay, and I noticed that it is the 1999 version, not the 2005 one. How outdated is the rule set in it?
It's close enough. The 1999 version the one with the important updates. Pretty much everything after that is just typo corrections and clarifications ...
