I believe starship combat was already in the core rules prior to the 2022 edition, but starship construction rules were not.

I don't think we need starship construction rules for Prime Directive, just specs for all the common Federation and enemy starship types would do the trick for me

Ah, I finally see what you're saying! There's a section on page 6 of Chapter 3 that I had overlooked that explains that 'Empire' is supposed to be replaced with the specific star empire (e.g. 'Klingon Empire').

Need to keep an eye on Leadership skill and consider if you're following the older MgT rule of it granting books, or the 2022 version of getting a +1. I don't see where you are getting it 'granting books' do you mean BOONS?.
