Second, according to (3E3), a player may not self-destruct a ship unless all of its crew has evacuated. To my knowledge, in Federation Commander the Romulans do not have the ability to self-destruct their ships any differently than the other empires.

I have seen many attempts to dodge the "No ...

Garret,
AFAIK, Comets (P16.0) was in Captain's Module P6: The Galactic Smorgasbord. It was a collection of playtest rules, simulator stuff, and unpublishable rules like the mini-photon, mega-phasers, etc. I don't know if it appeared in any other product, or if P6 is even still available.

I hope ...

B5 Wars fighter bases

Hey Tony,

I have lots of those, how many do you want?? Mine are the plastic hex with six holes (not pins), but you are welcome to some. I just put our B5 fighters onto individual stands (helps to spread out the miniatures so I don't have to buy more flights).
Drop me a line and let me know how many ...

Feds

Not that I have ever player tourney, but I think that is because most folks tend to miss with the photon a lot, no matter what the range. It has even given rise to the term 'blowton'.

I guess most peoples dice don't like them. Mine tend to love me as I usually hit with photons 2/3 of the time. It ...

D7Z Phaser Battlecrusier

You're talking about the D7Z Phaser Battlecruiser. All phased-armed D7: BPV 121 with phaser-1s in place of the disruptors with the same FA arcs. Eligible for the "B", "K", and "Y175" refits at 6, 3, and 4 BPV respectively. My Master Ship chart shows it appeared in Captain's Log 13, and has a YIS ...

Well if you want to wait a bit, I sent the master for the B9 in to SVC several months ago, and IIRC Tony (Scoutdad) is currently creating the master for a Fed DD engine which will then be packaged with all of the aforementioned saucers.

Can't help you on the FD7. After making the FD7 for the ...

DorianGray,
I'm sorry you feel that way.
But as these minis are also used for SFB, I was using the descriptions from SFB when sculpting the Selts. The ships are described as having exactly the same rear hull by class: FF and DD have the same, CL-NCA-CA-DNL have the same, BCH and DN have the same ...

Starfury,

A couple of recommendations on your attempt at free-handing it:

Don't skimp on brushes. For my fine detailing I use a natural fiber 20/0 brush. It set me back a bit but the results can be worth it.

Thin out your paint with its appropriate thinner. Oils (enamels) can work better here as ...

Here is an example of our bases:

You can see the magnet and brass rods on the stand. Just in between the rear engines on this Seltorian CA you can see the other magnet (the gold disk), and just above ...

Here are two pics of our flechette drone minis, one with them loose (you can see the strip magnet attached to the bottom),

and one with them on one of our 'drone stack' stands.

We use a cheaper (but more difficult) version of the Ninja Magic one: neodymium magnet on the bottom of the ship, with a hole drilled fore-and-aft. Then a specially constructed B10 metal stand with another neodymium magnet and two short brass rods. Magnet-to-magnet with the rods fore and aft and it ...

Shauneroo,

We use a flechette mounted to a magnet. It looks a lot like a one-inch long steel arrow. We painted them in different colors, but putting them on a base of some sort would allow you to number them. I got them in bulk from a company named "Cheaper Than Dirt". I had to buy a one pound ...

Ah verra verra nice :D
Its always slick to see non-traditional colors. The Gorns just scream for some sort of lizard/snake pattern.
We had an idea in painting the Tholians in various gemstone colors, and painting the Seltorians in various insect patterns but haven't gotten around to it.
