Look at the front page of the rulebook. Yes, they are supposed to be identical, and the B&W map is for when you have way too many counters around the town on the main map (it's just a large hex version of it).

I feel lucky that my booms were only minorly warped, but my C8 had the same grade issues that yours did.

That, and some classes aren't available directly in FC, but there isn't any problem using variant names for base-hull ships. Such as using a NEC name for an NCL.

The Prime Directive RPG books (available in D20Modern and GURPS versions) have a pretty good bit of background info. Also, in the online resources is a history of The General War, which was the SFU equivalent of WWII.

In this case, it's more that the support pylon is twisting slightly.

Ready to do decals, but when I tried to do the WarBird's, the first piece of the rather large bird decal fell apart. Putting it aside until I trust me detail work enough to hand paint it. Rather prefer a redder color anyway over the orange of the decal.

Great work there. And while I'll probably do my Hawks in classic Rom dirty white, they do look good in your gemstone green. I especially like how the Rom Eagle looked on the beak of the heavy Hawk there.

Do the stands fit standard FC map hexes?

The 'Tholian Webspinners' that came with the Enterprise model I bought. I could use them as PFs, I guess.

Oh, and they glow in the dark... ooooooo......

Had to laugh. Just picked up the Warbird and the Enterprise+Tholians kits. The Fed CA comes with a large decal sheet has about 12 different NCC & Name combinations, but only 3 (Enterprise, Constitution and Constellation) match SFU. That, and the two Tholian ships are going to have to done up as PFs ...

Well, first model in 10 years... gotta practice my detail work. But one say a second D7 will be built that will make this one look like what it is. A nice first start:

Using pinheads as phasers. Figure the base coat and individual coats of paint will make them smoother.
