you could try putting a tiny bit of green stuff in the hole wetting the post and preesing it into the green stuff to make a better fit. If you let the green stuff sit for a bit before you press the post in it will be less sticky and you should be ablt to form fit it with less chance of the post ...

Thanks, guys. I think I'm pretty near the point of packing it in, though. I mean, I guess I didn't think it'd be easy, but I didn't expect it to be this hard. Or, rather, I expected that the painting would be the difficult part and the mounting the esay part. Silly me. Anyway, this is starting to ...

Well, it didn't take me long to break one of those plastic pins that people warned me about. I was using the plastic stands for some of the small ships, but I of course managed to break off one of the pins in the Orion ship that comes with Squadron Box 3. Should I just try to glue the two pieces ...

Thanks for the input Scoutdad.

I saw you posted the demo derby, and it looks like a good place to start. Is there any way you could send me the other 2 demo's you use or post them?

For the OP I'm looking at a rotating schedule at the moment. I have mails out to a few people who have shown ...

How to get OP going and the best way to do demo's

I was wondering how others have their OP games set up? and how they do demo's.

I'm aiming to get the LGS going the begining of next month and I have no idea how I should do it. I have e mails out looking for input from those I know who want to play in it but I'm kind of at a loss.

And how are ...

Thanks again, everyone. Maybe someday I'll even get to finish and use these minis. 8)

I know the feeling on getting to play. I always end up painting so much I never feel like using the stuff I've done for myself. But iun the end it;s worth it.

If FC miniatures are your first foray in to the ...

You can just do as I do and file the pin on the base down till it fits nicely and then I use just a little bit of green stuff in the hole when I glue it on.

Money?

I'm sure you mean some kind of putty ...

I have the habit of forgetting not everyone knows what green stuff is. :oops ...

I'm thinking I'm more of a counter guy now. :?

The holes for the Fed ships seem not to be deep enough for the pin in some cases, regardless of whether the pin is plastic or metal. Is this a drilling situation, because I've managed to make it 37+ years without owning a drill.

Sorry to be such a ...

Yeah it was pretty close  but that ...
