Here are some examples:

1. Presenting a different shield to enemy fire because the shield they are about to fire through is weak or gone.

2. Bringing weapons to bear because a turn of one hex side will put a target into their firing arc.

3. As mentioned before by someone else, creating very tight ...

The bonus cards used rules that would have made FC into SFB with the FC game structure. Years ago that idea was floated as a Revolutions version, but it died a quiet death.

(8HF204) PROXY WAR: ENIARKU

Is there a time limit for this scenario? Maybe I overlooked it, but I didn't see a time limit in the scenario as published in the Hailing Frequencies as of 12-18-2022.

I'm the author of the Alpha Strike System and can verify it was designed solely for Federation Commander. I doubt the percentages would hold to the SFB damage system, if such percentages could even be calculated. Adding sensors and scanners as suggested in the first post of this thread would be easy ...

I imagine most ST/SFU fans who wanted to invest serious time into their hobby looked into the issue of stardates and timelines and came to the same conclusion: it is an exercise in futility. No matter what system someone comes up with, there are always inconsistencies.

Steve Cole is right. Stick ...

You could post it in the Files section of the Federation Commander Facebook group.

Perhaps better yet, make it into a PDF and just include an image of it.

You might get other feedback that way.

I hope a note is made to correct this and whatever other little things have been uncovered for a new update of the master rulebook (especially the electronic version).

Seems like I remember seeing a phaser dome on the top of the rear hull in at least one episode of TOS. Probably season 3. I always figured that was inspiration for the refit in SFB/FC.

A master scenario book for FC would probably destroy the profitability of other existing products.

There is a master list of all FC scenarios across all products available at Commander's Circle. It has been updated through CL53.

If the information in the old "Prime Directive: The Federation" is still correct, Alpha-Centauran society was at one time dominated by males bent on constant warfare and savage conflict. On the brink of dropping below a viable population level and with the number of males too few to continue warring ...

Falconer, are you asking who the real person was who came up with the idea, or are you asking for the in-game reason Alpha Centauri became matriarchal?

I don't want to nitpick, but if the Klingon player doesn't achieve any of the three levels of victory conditions by the end of turn 8, the scenario says the Alliance player wins by default.

The way I read your answer, the Klingon player has the arriving force after turn 8.

Communique #168 scenario

Scenario: 8CM154 - A Lonely Christmas

Re: Time Limit: Eight turns. At this point, if the issue remains in
doubt, other forces will arrive and that commander will claim the
victory.

Question: Which commander is this referring to? I'm thinking it's probably the Alliance commander, but it's not ...
