Sounds like you would need a large room to accommodate such a large map! Thanks for the information.

Using Starline 2500 minis with non SF:ACTA games

Pardon me if this question has been answered already, but will there be larger maps designed for those who want to use the minis to play SFB/FC/KA?

Thanks,

I see. Having only played B5 and Order of Battle (the WW2 wet navy game), I did not know.

I actually sat down and read the entire ACTASF rulebook (Draft #1) over the weekend. Most of it I had no idea what was going on (having never played ACTA) but there was a lot of interesting stuff in there.

Some of it was obviously ported over from ACTANA, but that may just be preliminary playtest ...

Revised SSDs featuring FC-quality graphics?

Has there been any talk of revised SSDs featuring cleaned-up charts with crisper, FC-quality graphics? The current ones work, but I would definitely plunk down coin for something like this.

My dream would be a computer program which you could go in, say you wanted a Fed CAp with 2 extra marines and 3 TBs and it would print out that SSD with those specs. Or at least something that would be a 'build a freighter' program that would let you choose what pods, ducktails and skids and get a ...

Jiraiya1969 (Klingon) vs. Archer (Tholian)

For the record with Archer and Jim's blessing, swapped out the D7 for the D5W (missed the bit where the Klingons costed less in the FCOL 3rd tourney).

It didn't really help

Winner Archer

Klingons vs. Tholians

Have never played Tholians in FC before and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to how to approach them when playing Klingons.

The one thing I do know is to not launch mass drones as Tholians can take out a stack all at once with a Web Fist (?)

I am a member of the current online ...

Advice for noob Klingon vs Romulans

As a participant in the current FCOL tournament I was paired against VulcanDropOut for Round 3.

I had no answers.

I was flying a C7, D7 and D5. The Romulans had a NH, SP-A and SP-M.

The major hiinderance for me? Plasmas. The only thing I could think of doing was going spd 24 so i could outrun ...

e23 Cmdr Briefing Ship Packs - aren't those prices too high?

I recently picked up the 3 Frax Ship packs thru e23 for $5 each. They looked really nice, so I thought I would pick up the MY pdf ship packs for the FC Cmdr Prieifng #2.

I was a bit shocked to find that each pack, despite only being a few pages more than the $5 packs, were a whopping $10 a pack ...

It was a bloody battle, but in the end the Klingon warriors managed to defend the Empire and teach the Juggy a lesson! Go bother the Federation next time!

On a side note, the C7 is truely an excellent ship, and two are better than one!

The 2 C7s sound cool, if not a bit 'historically ...
