Tournament book map

Post by Kang »

I have an older version of the SFB tournament book [Module T] in which there is a bonus map with 'different' markings on it.

In two of the corners, there are a pair of 'goals' for 'Space Hockey' from Captain's Log #7, a scenario that I have already volunteered to convert to FC on the scenario conversion boards.

However, there is also a 'racetrack' markings set on it too, with a central grey 'island' and a dotted start/finish line.

I'm sure this was a scenario in some product or other, most likely a Captain's Log, since I have searched Scenario Books #1 and #2 to no avail.

Does anyone please know what scenario that might be, and where it is?

Thanks!

Wasn't it in Module T? I would expect both scenarios to be there.

Ah. Hadn't though of that. So, I've checked!

Space Hockey is indeed in there, but the only 'racetrack' scenario I can find is Death Race 3000 [SG75.0] which is played on a Figure-8 track, not the 'oval' Indy-500 style track I have on my map.

Any ideas, plz?

You might Email Petrick (rules@starfleetgames.com) as he's the SFB expert (and rarely if ever comes over here).

Ok, Steve Petrick has kindly worked it out for me - for those who would like to know, it's on Page 21 of the 2000 Module T, under 'Racetrack'. Oddly enough .

So, you were right, Mike :)

Looks like fun, might give it a go :)
