I was planning to play some Fed Commander with a friend of mine this week, but as I never bought either KB or RB I don't have counters or maps. Luckily I have some other space games for the maps and some VERY old boxset of SFB for the counters.
Looking at the counters though, I was wondering something . . . what faction is Red on Yellow? (ie Red ship on Yellow square) And what faction is Blue on White? I was just curious, as I spent about a half hour sorting about 300 counters into their respective factions and couldn't place those by their silhouettes. Though Red on Yellow might be the WYN and Blue on White might be Starfleet National guard fleets or something. But I don't know.

Red units on a yellow background are the units of the WYN Star Cluster.
Blue units on a white background are "generic" units. They are not necessarily race specific, but can be used to augment the forces of any race. These are typically stations (Starbase, BATS, Mobile Base), Freighters (both large and small), etc.
