Punched vs Unpunched vs Bound
First, the store shows nice colorful pictures for the Reference rulebook and the briefing products. Are these the actual covers of the books or are they just inserts?
If I purchase the reference rulebook or the Briefing's in an unbound format, will the cover/insert still be included? I am interested in getting them unbound as I tend to like to comb bind my print outs (much easier to lay flat on the table) but I like to give them nice front covers which I usually laminate (along with a back cover) to provide better protection.
Thanks for answering this silly question.

Those are the actual covers.
Yes. I order many of mine unbound (as I like to spiral bind them, in sequence) and they still come with the color cover.
My Reference Rulebook was ordered, Unbound, Unpunched.
When it arrives, I'll cut the spine of the cover, laminate the front and back covers, then have the entire unit sriral bound at the local Kinkos.

So if it is unbound the covers (back and front) are still attached like a folder? That's nice. How much does/did Kinko's charge you for spiraling it?Scoutdad wrote:My Reference Rulebook was ordered, Unbound, Unpunched. Thanks for the info.

I order mine unpunched and unbound. I then insert them into sheet protectors then a three ring binder. I insert the color cover in the clear pocket on the front of the three ring binder.
Whenever there is a rulechange or update, I will scan the pages in question and cut and paste the new rules into proper sequence. I print the new page and slip it in place into my Rulebook 5.
