It was just a bit of experimenting with the ships has they would fit in with the period after the treaty with the romulans.

Also just lately i have been using my kzinti ships in a few briefing two period games where the tigermen love using the drone  to keep up with different firing systems.

A super aggressive tactic is to "ride the wave" of drones in.

Then, your enemy has this choice:
a) Fire on the ships, or...
b) Fire on the drones, or...
c) Do both, but not very well.

This tactic does NOT work very well against enemies who are moving VERY fast. (Orion Pirate for instance.) But CAN be interesting if you save energy to tractor your opponent to slow him down. (Some people call this the Gorn Anchor. I call it the Kzinti Anchor , go figure.)

I have not had the chance to tractor enemy ships too often in FC, but in SFB this is how I landed 8 drone hits in one shot. (I am an old Kitty, *waves to the forum*.)

A pretty common tactic is to get 6 drones in the vaccuum over a turn break, filling the kitty's control channels, and either lead or follow them in. Tractoring the target is tougher in FC, the range of tractors is only 1, but you can certainly do it. It's also more or less necessary with slow (speed 16) drones.
