I recall reading somewhere that the multiple colors of the Romulan Kestrel symbol (the hawk looking thing that is primarily orange with other colored accents) mean something like what fleet the ship is in or what squadron or something.
Am I going crazy, or can someone confirm this? If so, are the colors assigned anywhere, like Fleet of the West, Home Fleet etc.?
Thanks.

I know the old painting guide said the birds had heraldic meaning, but I don't recall anything specific about colors. My mind is like a sieve though.

We have never published any data about the belly birds except they are "thought to be heraldic". No mention of any link to fleets.

Thanks for the info SVC.
Guess I'm going crazy then.
I suppose there are worse things to go crazy about though...

I'll have to dig out my old FASA Star Trek RPG books, but I think that may be the source you're thinking about.

Hod K'el, your universal translator appears to be malfunctioning. [I didn't understand your last two posts.]

If you've just had one experience -- just means you spend/spent way too much time indoors ---

Well Pinecone, in the UK we always say that your experience means good luck. Admittedly, it's good luck for everyone that didn't receive the "package", but at least you can think there's a silver lining!!
