If it is any consolation, I recently made the same mistake.Furyofaseraph wrote:It's actually the CA... Turns out the ISC don't have a proper BCH, which I didn't know - that means the ship that I had intended to be the BCH is now the model for their CC variants >.<.
The reason for my mistaken guess is that the "angle" on the wing seen with the hull lights led me to thing it had that single angle so the wing went way up the center nose. I didn't think of the second "angle" that cuts the wing back so much on the CA.

(sorry for the double post)
Well, you can tell because the cone of light drops off instantly (because there's nothing there to be illuminated). But no worries, I can see the cause of confusion.mjwest wrote: The reason for my mistaken guess is that the "angle" on the wing seen with the hull lights led me to thing it had that single angle so the wing went way up the center nose. I haven't really thought about it, no.
My personal SFB/Star Trek timeline is a bit skewed compared to standard SFB, so a lot of the early ships wouldn't actually fit in very well.
Here's the last of the fleet.
I-CVA

I-DNW

I-BB

I-CA

I-DN

I had to change things around a bit in order to fit in the I-CM.

Oh, okay.
Would that also preclude the likes of the CLF/CBR, or coudl there be room for those as well?
Or the system defence refits (NCA/NCS, NDD, NFF) for that matter?

3ds Max 9-32bit and Photoshop CS2, but the apps don't matter. Determination and skill do. I've been doing this for a while.Sgt_G wrote:Fury, what software did you use to create those? I've thought about tring to do stuiff like that, but I don't know what programs to get or where to begin.
I'm not really sure. The game I made these for doesn't use specific models per ship, but rather just 1 model for all the CAs, 1 model for all the CCs, etc, including the New, fast, and so on.Nerroth wrote: Oh, okay.
