What is the status of player-designed FC ship control cards of SFB ships? Obviously the IP remains with ADB and they cannot be sold, but can they be posted here or on a player's own website?

If you look at ABD's input guides, the policy is to let ADB do ship conversions for FC when it is not for personal use.

This also prohibits you from posting them anywhere, since ADB would want to sell them and who is going to buy anything that they can just go to the internet to download free?

Additionally, the squadron scale ship cards are nearly identical to the SFB cards, and that would essentially be posting a published product online, which is not OK.

I agree with you on a fan converting SFB SSDs to FC because ADB may have plans to put them in a future product but there are fan ship SSDs out there that ADB will never do so, using ADB guidelines, converting those ships to FC ship cards should be no problem.

As long as you aren't distributing something I doubt it matters what you use in your own house.
