New Releases for Starline 2400

Post by Jean »

New Releases of Miniatures, August 30

These are being shipped today (August 30) to distributors. While individuals may go ahead and place orders for these via our storefront, the orders will not be shipped until September 7.

Border Box #10
Two dozen more ships for the ISC, Andromedan, and Vudar. The ISC get two heavy cruisers, two light cruisers, two destroyers, and two frigates. The Vudar get two heavy cruisers, two light cruisers, two destroyers, and two war frigates. The Andromeans get an Intruder, a Conquistador, three Pythons, and three Cobras. Ships are pewter and include stands for gaming or display.

Federation Light Tactical Transport
The fast fleet transport version of the new light cruiser, this ship has internal cargo capacity and the ability to carry a pod (which is included with the miniature).

Federation Old Heavy Cruiser
The big brother of the Old Light Cruiser, this design was intended to be the mainstay of Star Fleet, but was supplanted by the better-known Constitution class. This is a one-piece casting.

Tholian TK5
Desperate for more heavy ships, the Tholians used the abandoned rear hull of a Klingon F5 frigate and the front portion of a patrol corvette to produce this bizarre ship. The EXILE was one of the most powerful ships in the Holdfast Defense Force for many decades.

I know I can't wait to get mine! Though it may not be on a gaming table for a while.

Awesome job on that mini Will.

@Paul - Thanks.

BTW, I should finally be putting that package in the mail to you this week. Sorry its taken so long - things have been crazy.

@Tony - I might as well pony-up now. I won't be painting until November (at the earliest). I'm not backyard-patio-sunlight dependent anymore, since I bought my little spraybooth for my birthday.

Package inbound this week for you too (with a pair of DDF's).

Too bad we did the decal sheet before the whole "Griswold" thing had really taken hold. U.S.S. Griswold NCC-588 would be a riot.

Looks like the Auroran Navy will be glad to 'borrow' the use of one of those moulds...

(Well, they likely built more CLAs than the Feds built OCAs, so why not?)

Hmmm. I might have to make room on my decal sheet for that (and a few extra sets too...).
