Burn though a threat or a menace?

Just to confirm can directed targeting be applied to burn through, the rules and a previous thread seem to say so. If so I find it nasty verses Andros. I am too used to the tighter written Starfleet battles rules.

yes directed damage applies to burnthrough.

Storey is correct. You make the decision to use directed targeting (or not) prior to rolling. Therefore, it applies even to burn-through.
