Nice work, but on a separate and related note...
We need to get Mike west to (if it's even possible) split this into threads for each empire, otherwise we'll have 50 pages of posts relating to every single empires miniatures and no one will be able to find anything.

I would rather just take out the "2400" from the Painting Examples section and just keep it all in there. Also, Jean will have to do it, as she is the Admin. I am merely a lowly Moderator. ;)

Actually, shouldn't we add "2500" to the 2400 title, otherwise, we'll all forget about the older line?

Dave, those are awesome looking. I really love the red on all of the vents and the red script on the lettering. That is some great work!

I meant that no number should be referenced. So, it would just be "Starline Painting Examples" without any kind of series number. Then, it would apply to not only 2400 and 2500, but also 2200 and 2300.

Sorry, Mike, I was just making a little joke. Your suggestion is sensible, of course!

Not bad 2 weeks to paint one starship ...
This one is almost done. Still need to pin wash, weather it and decals.
I don't know if I like the light blue panels on the nacelle struts.

Nissei,

I used a different blue, almost a turquoise color on the engine pylons/engines. I think your blue is too light, but that's just me. :D

I used a blue from Hobby Lobby called Anita's Acrylic Craft Paint, color name is "Island Blue".

Nice paint job!

I use Tamiya "Sky Blue" for mine (it's a little darker). However, I'll be curious to see how the blue you used looks once you weather the mini - you might end up liking it as-is.

Jumping on the band wagon, the ships are great but those stickers are amazing. Great idea!

Those look really nice, Ian. I always like seeing gray Feds (I'm not into the stark titanium white look, personally).

Decals are coming. I still don't have my Fleet Box, but a kind soul did connect me with the ships that are unique to that set, early this week. I am measuring and adjusting the art and we hope to be printing very soon.

Impressive fleet and looking good! I see you got your command cruiser, too.

The gray looks good on Fed ships and you've done a great job with it there.
