Top photo in this article looks for all the world like a plasma torp.....thought you'd like to see it.

However I must take issue with the quoted speed of 150,000mph. 20-50,000mph is usually more like it. Guess it's just journalistic hype again

Speed limits on roads are still in Miles Per Hour, and speeds are usually reported in general press as mph. I dare say science types use KPH, but most normal people stick with MPH as it what they are used to due to car uesage and speed limits.
