Top photo in this article looks for all the world like a plasma torp.....thought you'd like to see it.

However I must take issue with the quoted speed of 150,000mph. 20-50,000mph is usually more like it. Guess it's just journalistic hype again ;)

Speed limits on roads are still in Miles Per Hour, and speeds are usually reported in general press as mph. I dare say science types use KPH, but most normal people stick with MPH as it what they are used to due to car uesage and speed limits.
