Making planets and moons
I was wondering if anyone has made their own planets or moons or if there are companies you can buy them from.

Corsec Engineering sells kits:

I have also made planets from foam balls, cut in half. Make sure you use the foam without all the holes, or it's hard to smooth the surface.
I used several coats of Modge Podge to try and smooth up the surface of styrofoam balls with some success.

Or the bottom half of large plastic Easter eggs
Didn't Scoutdad post some pics of his planets? I seem to remember a golf ball size earth where he painted the continents, oceans, some clouds and I even think a tiny little marker for his house in Tennessee
He could tell you how he made them.
I betcha when something is missing around his house, his wife asks him if he is starting any new craft projects. He is quite inventive.

I have managed to acquire lots of her "stuff"
I got one of her photo corner rounders...
One of her 12-inch paper cutters...
One of her paper punches...
Over the years, I appropriated... kitchen sponges... Christmas balls... pine trees from her Christmas Village... cotton batting from her stock... felt... fabric... poly-foam... beads... bead organizers... gauze pads and gauze bandages from the first aid kit... coffee stirrers... straws...

Same here.djdood wrote:No crafting supplies are safe in my house. She borrows my stuff, I borrow hers. Hers comes back with paint on it... I sleep on the couch...
I often head to the game room only to find the table has become a scrap-book den or a lapidary studio.
She "borrows" my stuff as often as I borrow hers.
The only difference seems to be that I get my stuff back... hers ends up in some project and is lost forever.
