Peladine

Post by captaincf »

I am thinking of picking up Stellar Shadows. Can anyone give me a quick overview of the Peladine?

Try Jessica Orsini's Peladine webpage. As the creator of their empire, she does a better job explainign them than I could.

Above link doesn't seem to be working. To note, they are an interesting race with the plasma/drone mix. I've been talking with Peter about the attempts to balance the TCC. After getting the module we decided to add them to our Alpha Octant map and use them.

One of those things that happen when you resurrect a 3 yo thread.

Maybe not the point, but going back to something people
stopped discussing 3 years ago is kinda frowned on here.
Contributors may have moved, links could be taken down or moved.

Understand the frustration, that is the point of not resurrecting dead threads.

Frustration? Really, it would frustrate you that someone wanting to put in a comment or two about the Peladines simply chose to use a thread entitled 'Peladines'? I've created numerous threads here on the board, I simply chose to use one with the same title I would have used this particular time. I felt like sparking some discussion in a section that really isn't used that often.

If you don't want to talk about the Peladine that's fine. Pass the thread by so it doesn't frustrate you. That way, what isn't a big deal doesn't become a big deal and anyone that wishes to talk about the Peladine can freely do so.

Frustration?

Hate when links don't work --
There are many reasons that happens.

It may be that much of the ground which had been covered by that site would now be superseded by the data in Module E4, but I'm not 100% sure on that front.

That would be a reasonable conclusion. I remember looking at her website, perhaps last year give or take. But with the module out you're probably right.
