Assume one AD of an overloaded disruptor bank hits a ship at point blank range (4 or less).

Point Blank says that any AD that score a hit will do 1 additional damage point. It further states to add that in after any modifiers.

So. Step by step.

1. We start with Kill Zone. We now have 2 hits of 1 damage each.

2. The disruptors are overloaded, so we now have 2 hits of 2 damage points each, for 4 damage points so far.

(Same answer if you start with the Overloaded bit and then apply Kill Zone)

3. With Point Blank, it strictly states 1 additional damage point for any attack dice that score a hit. Only one was rolled, so I think you have a total of 5 damage points.

If the AD was a 6, that's 5 rolls on the damage table (bypassing the shields). If not, that's 5 points off the shields.

Yes, that’s correct: the attack does 5 total damage. Point Blank adds +1 damage per successful attack die (not per split hit Geometry Dash), so only +1 is applied.
