"... lab analysis of a faded/ cloaked ship is treated under the penalties of a direct-fire weapon."
The penalty alluded to above is +4 to range and damage -50% for a fully-cloaked ship. If a ship is under cloak do labs suffer +4 range- as well as the 50% penalty?
even though technically they are delivering no damage?
e.g. Ship is under cloak and labs are range 2 from target. Basic lab points are 8 at this range. Range (2+4) lab points = 2, - 50% = 1 lab point.
