Good news for Federation Commander players! Romulan Ship Card Pack #3 is now available.

Six of the newer Kestrel (Klingon-built) ships for those clever Romulans, including:

There are a few problems with the version of Federation Commander: Academy on e23.

The Romulan Ship Card that is included should be for the King Eagle NOT the War Eagle (the counters are for the KE, the photo in the ADB webstore shows the KE Ship Card is included with FC: Academy and the WE is completely outmatched by the other three ships in FC: Academy).

The explanation sheet (2nd page of the PDF) incorrectly says the War Eagle is included.

The Player Aid Card is Missing.

Excuse a question from someone who is still relativly new to FC. Are these new ships that have not previously appeared in the game, or are they just PDFs of ships that are already availble as hard-copy cards in one of the physical products? Thanks!

I can't check at the moment, and don't remember romulan ships like I remember others, but I'm sure there are brand new ships in there (unless they have appeared in communique).

You can probably check by looking at the master ships chart.

Short answer Yes and Yes. The Epacks are High Resolution PDFs of Ship cards that have appeared somewhere else already. Such as a physical card in a module or as a Black and White that has appeared a Communique or a Captains Log. Every now and then we might get a brand new ship as well.

Actually Jim according to what you listed the War Eagle is correct. Now you maybe be meaning to say you think it should have a King Eagle but the fact that it doesn't or that the War Eagle is not competitive does not mean the e'version is wrong.

If you want to get down to brass tac the War Eagle is the Romulan Standard Cruiser and the King Eagle is a Heavy Command Unit.

Thanks, Storyelf and Dal! I've got Romulan Border, Romulan Attack, and the six associated booster card sets so I was just wondering if I needed to pick this up. Sounds like I do!

You may be correct.

The back cover of FC:A says it includes the WE and the webstore says it includes the WE.

However, the WE is completely outclassed by the other three ships in FC:A.

Also, the countersheet has two KEs on it. There are no WEs on it.

Finally, the PHOTO in the ADB webstore of what is included in the physical copy of FC:A shows a King Eagle ship card.

Regardless, the player aid card is definitely missing.
