Hey Scoutdaddy, on that LTT Adapter I hope its not to flush.
I would hate to be the Pilot assigned to a LTT wit a CVL Pod taking off out the front of that Pod might make you do a Wiley E Coyote into the back of the Sensor Dish...
Or...
Fire all Photons as they bear Guns. WHAM!!! What the heck was that?!?Ummm Captian, I think we just took out our own Sensor Array....

Only when using the same process that ADB, reaper, and a few other companies use.
If you're got the money to create a stainless injection mold using a 3-up master, then ABS and styrene work fine... unfortunately, you have to sell a lot of miniatures to justify 50K for a single mold!

Yeah, that's a mighty investment - and there's no telling if it will pay off.
Well, I'll just keep tinkering with my ABS. I hope that someone steps up to tackle the Omega Sector races though. A whole new line would be sweet!

I tell you what, Dal. When you get yours, if it's too flush... let me know and I'll fabricate an extension foir you so you can drop the pod down a bit...
But, then again - IIRC, you can't put double weight Pods (i.e., CVA / BAT / SCS Pods) on LTTs.

1) Yes you can. The resultant combination is barely faster than a base, but you can do it.
2) There is a single weight Light Battle Pod, too.

Hmmm... I just got home and checked:
R2.38 Federation LTT: ...This ship can carry one pod, which may be double-weight!
I can see the CAG now:
"A'ight youse guys... Remember the clever formation launches we practiced back at Starbase 3? Fuhgedaboudit! Do youse see that big round shiny thing out in front of the hatch? Well, flying into that would not be a good thing... so's here what we gonna do...
Odd numbered flights... launch in sequence and break left once you're outta the bay.
Even numbered flights... break to you'se udder left!
Anybody that screws this up had better hope the crash kills you before I do!
Then they launch...
One: "I.m clear and breaking left - mark!"
Two: I'm out - break right!"
Three: "uhhhh....", crunch!
"This is CIC to Flight Control. CIC to Flight! We seem to have lost all sensor reception. Can you have one of the CAP see it there's anything visually wrong with the Sensor dish?"

"Flight, Ghostrider10. Roger your request for an eyeball on the LTT's dish... wait one..."
[sounds of muffled laughter]
"Uh, Flight... I can confirm that the dish is not, repeat NOT there, but F-18 side-number 003 is.
You might want to get an admin shuttle out there before he breaks loose and takes the rest of the sensor post with him back into the shuttlebay..."
[additional sounds of laughter].

And why would they not mount the pod backwards?

The CVA pod was of he "tunnel deck" variety. It had shuttle bay doors on both ends.
Plus, the mounting lugs were on the front of the pod... simple physics prevent it from being mounted backwards...
just look at the DD USS Kaufman for multiple reasons not to do that...

Will: I have a new desktop image now. Care to guess what it is?
Although NCC-1461... didn't that one mysteriously disappear in the Nouveau York sector? ...never to be heard from again?

Just got home and couldn't breath for 5 minutes. When I finally could breath set my new Desktop.

I guess we now know why they do not mount the CV Pods on LTTs.
But seriosly I thought the CVL Pod was a tunnle Deck also. Am I wrong on that one?
"What was that side-number? Ghostrider10 over."
"Flight, Ghostrider10. CAG that side-number was zero zero three."
"CAG to Hornet Zero Zero Three. Coyote are you listening?"
"Yes Pappy, I can hear you."
"Son do you know what your next flight assignment is going to be?"
"Its going to involve rubber dog doodoo isn't it sir..."

Pics are so small that it's hard to make them out, but they look like they're pretty cool. Omega stuff?

Hey Art... nice work. Like Will, I wish the photos were larger and showed more detail - but those are quite nice.
Are they castable, per chance? That would make a very nice Omega fleet box for ADB.
