In Romulan Border (rev4) I didn't see anything that stated anything on that list for any torpedoes ---
A short description but no actual R=romulan etc ---

There's also the Plasma-V for Veltressai (one of the pre-ISC factions) and Plasma-E for the Eneen (an expansionist empire in the Magellanic Cloud) - and the Probr HEATs (High Energy Acceptance Torpedoes) and Trobrin ITs (Implosion Torpedoes) too, if you count two of the seeking weapons in Omega which use plasma-like rules (along with 5 others!).
Granted, none of them are presently in FC...

Originallly (And iroincly) I though R was Romulan, S was standard, G was gorn, F was Fed, and D was defensive. It's funny how the letters match the race you first think of... even if incorrect...

That's what I'd always heard, too. Apparently I was misinformed though.

I thought the original plasma designations were G, S and M for:
Giant
Standard
Miniature
Oh, wait... maybe I'm thinking of something else.
