In order to keep the BOM ship cards per product down to an acceptable level, I have two suggestions. Divide the ships by rules or by empire. So, have a BOM scouts, then BOM carriers and escorts, then BOM special weopons (maulers, stasis, ect.), BOM crazy ships the live on the edge, and so on. Or split the ships between traditional enemies, so that the BOM ships could be revealed two empires at a time, ie BOM Fed vs Kling, BOM Gorn vs Rom, BOM Lyran vs Kzinti, BOM minor powers, an so on.

There is no point in speculating or trying to suggest formats to SVC untill after Orgins

But Goonius the intention was to make BOM a Brefing Style Product with like 60 Cards in Paper Format and then see about releasing Special Boosters. We will just have to give Steve time to thing thing over and sit back and see how he decides to do it.

If there are Maulers in BoM, will they include the (conjectural-only, in SFB) Alliance ones?

i'm sure someone has thought of this already but why not do "BoM" as a pdf. say BoM #1 covers maulers and 2 or 3? senarios. then maybe 3 months down the road do BoM #2 with scouts, followed every 3? months by a nother issue.(maybe every 3rd or 4th communique could be a BoM)

Why do as a PDF what we can sell as a hard copy book?
I don't see PDFs as a magic gateway to get more products done. With POD, we can make money on new products with 100 copies.
The barrier to doing BoM books is the workload to do and CHECK the ship cards, which is the exact same amount of work whether the result is a PDF or a printed book.
I just do not understand why "do it as a PDF" is the common answer to problems which "doing it as a PDF" would not solve.
