Has this been updated? I just wanted to make sure I wasnt doing something wrong. I just re-DL'd the RRB and 4S is still not there.

Thanks!

No.

Rather than just sticking (4S) in and calling it even, we went through the whole thing again looking for any other items that needed cleaning up.

Steve is finishing it up, and I would expect it to be updated within a couple days. [Important note: I do not know or set the schedule. This is purely a guess based on the progress Steve has reported.] It is taking a little longer than expected due to Steve's shorter days due to the really bad weather.

"As of 1:16pm (Thursday), RRB6a is done, but Leanna isn’t here to upload it, so I’ll have her upload it tomorrow (we'll probably print hard copies Monday assuming we dont' have another round of three-day nit-picking).

That gives Mike W and the staff another 24 hours to find any problems, i.e., by tomorrow morning."

Any news on the upload? I hope the nasty weather isn't a factor.

I just downloaded RRB 6a from e23. It appears that Tractor-Repulsor Beams are incorrectly listed as (5S) in the Table of Contents. Tractor-Repulsor Beams are correctly listed as (4S) in the main body of the book. Thanks,

Garrett

I will take it anyway. I can fix that myself using Adobe.

T-R Beams are also correctly listed in the RRB6a Index as 4S.

So, fortunately, the glitch only showed up in the ToC.

Yup. It will eventually be fixed in the electronic version. It will probably not be fixed in any printed versions. (Though any "second batch" versions of the print RRB6a probably will have it fixed.)

How exactly can you do that?

I assume that you need a standard/professional version, and not just reader.

Thanks.

The Standard version of Adobe Acrobat (not the free Reader version) has a text touchup tool. It will allow you to change the 5 to a 4 in the Table of Contents.

Well, that was easy.

Thanks!

Just got an email from e23 that RRB6 has been updated again. It fixed the table of contents typo for TR beams (4S instead of 5S in Section 4). Is there anything else that got changed?

Just some typos. I missed the fact that that the CRUL was the actual text of the rules in many cases, so when I proofread the CRUL for the last Communique, some typos were found.
