Yes, it's too bad that obeying the law (on so many things) ruins all of that fun! But it is the law, and we cannot condone or support (i.e., allow links to) any ship card that is violating anybody's copyrights. (So you cannot link to your ship card for battlestar galactica either.) It's not just that it violates our contract with Paramount, it breaks the law.

Lots of people have already done pretty sharp movie ships and have posted them all over the internet. (I have a long list of them, and when I become aware of a new one, I send the link to Paramount, who make it go away.) So posting the ship and passing around the link by email that I don't see means that you will (in a day or two) send it to an honest person who sends it to me and you'll hear from Paramount. Rots of ruck, yankee dog!
