Nice idea - t(h)ough you'd be doing the fanbase a favour if you made sure your converted 8-bay Hive ship (and your 4-bay 'Lair Ship?') were usable as master moulds, and sent them to ADB!...
That's what I get for depending on a spell chequer.

It looks like it would be fairly easy to make a castable version of both... but would there be enough of a SFB market to make it profitable?

Oh yeah, welcome back Gary. We haven't seen you on the boards lately.

And well played with the comeback, t(h)ere...

...*claps*

Well, maybe you could check with SVC to see if he'd like the ides of the 8-bay ship?

After all, it is the only type to appear in the Alpha Octant (that we know of) - and so far, none of the six-bay ships have been put into Omega or the Magellanic Cloud...

...plus, it would be great for M81 Galaxy battles, either as an HVS or as a larger Battlewagon.

And thanks - I wasn't sure I was missed, to be honest.

I love the Kzinti ship models. Those look great.

It's too bad some of the other masters don't use the new art, though. It'll take a lot of work to get the Hydran, Lyran, and Tholian ships to look like Adam's pictures of them.

I suspect that John S could convert his 6-bay nest into an 8-bay hive or 4-bay lair ship easily enough.

I good for at least 1 of the 8-bay Nest ships, and the 4-bay "Lair" ships.
