Sneaky Scot wrote:Adam, I'd love to see orthographic views of the ships - as a sad engineer type, I like the nice neat ordered views presented.
More importantly, the more I see of your art work the more I enjoy it, and want to paint miniatures (which I'm rubbish at, but what the heck).
Go for it!!
What's your e-mail address? I'll send ya what I got.

I'd like to see those if you're still doing them.
Sent you my email in a PM.
Thanks.

It just dawned on me (I'm kinda slow) that you had them posed the same as Adam's cover. Again, pretty spiffy John!

Adam,
The checks weren't the easiest, but I like how they looked so much in the art, I had to do them (the wonders of a 20/0 brush).
Djood,
Glad you noticed

When I posted these at the legacy site, someone suggested I should have used a red light on them to make it look like the cluster radiation, LOL!! Maybe next time...
BTW, there are more posted over at the legacy site under "Starline 2400 Miniatures: Miniature Kitbashing". I didn't post them here because they are mostly ships/empires that don't appear in Fed Com yet.

Saw that and was impressed and commented there (for the same reasons).

The painted versions there, though they are the "Fish" ships" don't kind of look like fish, they almost look more like some sort mammal. the Orca, the Mako, etc;

Mike,
A mako is a type of shark, and a barracuda is also a fish. The orca is the only mammal of the fish series. Strange, but there it is.

Mike,
There is also the Narwal class mauler, another mammal. I remembered that on the way home from classes.
