Win for the Gorns

ve made a mistake letting the orions come to range 8 with Photons fully overloaded on turn 1, but most misse !

Just after I launch a bunch of torps on his Battle raider, wich crippled it on turn 2.

Alos on turn 2, we make a close range pass, he crippled my light cruiser but I destroy is battle raider, and a S torp is in chase of his Raider.

With 2 ships out of the game and one most threaded, Jim concede.

It was a game about maneuvering, wich is good, thanks to my opponent !

As I feared, his webs proved a great hindrance. A ship with 2 webcasters was a lot to deal with. Turn 1 he crippled one of my lancers.

I did manage to force a r1 shot on turn 2 and blew up his DN, but took too much damage in return.

I tried one more turn but ended up with all ships crippled. One might have died; but we didn't apply the last volley.

Due to the number of uncompleted matches and the fact we will not be starting the next Tournament until January 1st, I am extending the deadline for completion of the Final Round of the 3rd FCOL Tournament until Sunday, November 13th.

Paul has won our Fed Com game. It was Lyran vs Tholian.
While the Tholian dreadnought was about 35% damaged, the remaining Lyran forces would not be able to stand up to the Tholians.

Paul and I discussed this and if everyone else is agreeable, Paul will take the Romulans and I will take the Gorns. Both of us believe that plasma is a little more difficult to win with.
