Skexis tries to slip past during the commotion and signals to Jack to come with him bringing the goods.

Marcus appears to be causing an excellent distraction. [GM note for Marcus: these are awesome rent-a-cops, but are not heroic-stature like the players.]

Skexis appears to have successfully slip by the guards and into the business district.

[GM note about Flax/Fred: Fred seems to have misunderstood the situation here... I'll let him revise his plan after folks get him up to speed on what's going on. Once I know what Fred and Captain Jack are doing, we'll roll on with this scene.]

Captain Jack follows Skexis.

OOC: As long as you say Marcus got a few good licks in before he gets stunned thats good with me. No need to muck up the game by rolling for the eventual stunning.

Marcus's fight rages out of control. No one really gets hurt, but he does get his shirt ripped off. [Cue TOS fight theme.]

Skexis, Captain Jack, and Fred have snuck past the guards and have arrived at Muankaal's towering skyscraper with mirrored glass. [GM note: Fred is with you guys and is not confused.]

What next?

Captain Jack says: "When in doubt, go up."

Find an lift and take it to the top.

"Penthouse, please," he tells Jack. "Glad I didn't need to leave all my personal weapons..."

(Say, does he still have a uniform or anything? I could pose as one of these guys really easy...)

Skexis goes with them.

As you walk into Muankaal's building... you see a large desk in front of the elevator area.

Sitting there is a stoic (but attractive... though she has those bushy Klingon eybrows) secretary at an unlcuttered desk.

You know you're not going to be able to sneak by her....

What now...?

Captain Jack walks up to the desk and tells her, "we're here for our appointment with Muankaal. You may show us in now."

"What he meant to say," Fred says, smilingly handsomely, "was we'd like you to pencil us in for that appointment." He leans against the desk and turns up the brilliance. "Now, just what would that take, gorgeous?"

(I know, now it's my turn to take one for the team. Someone's got to do it, and Marcus already did his part...)

[Hmmm....]

"Is that right?"

Her eyes seem to linger on Fred for a moment... then turns back to Captain Jack.

"I may be able to get you guys an appointment on short notice... but... how can I be sure that you... Gentlemen... aren't going to waste the valuable time of my employer...?"

Captain Jack says: "We have some items that we were told to get to Muankaal from an Andorian named Tarsh."

When she sees the data wafer that "Tarsh" gave to Marcus, all pretense of any red tape disappears.

"I'll put you right through."

She sends you to the conference room on the top floor. A hulking bear-ape of a Slirdarian escorts you there. At the other side of the long table stands Muankaal with his arms folded. He a distinguished looking middle-aged Klingon.

"Well, my friends," he says in a deep bass of a voice, "it seems you can shed some light on a few matters that trouble me, can you not?"

[Meanwhile, after repeated punches to the stomach, Marcus Kane collapses. The security personnel deposit him in a dumpster in a nearby alley. He might wake up in a little while.]
