Works for me. Wine, women, weapons, all taken care of already. Some sort of investigation that turns out fruitles, I guess.

Say, what's the sleeping arangements? I wasn't here for that, am I clsoe enough to have any dealings with the current mess, or I am I like a building or more away, or what?

Actually... if you want to pull anything like stumbling in half-drunk and unexpected or making some sort of danger sense or perception check... then roll some dice, say what you want to do, and I'll sort it all out.

I mean... the worst that could happen is Captain Jack gets his throat slit...! ;)

(At any rate, feel free to use the ambiguity to your advantage by creating plot/setting details on the fly. Captain Jack did earlier that with his archaeological dig improv for instance....)

Captain Jack's character sheet is sadly devoid of any relevant looking psyche or hand-to-hand skills. I'm not sure how he can get out of this one.

He may need some help depending on how he handles this....

Correct, but Captain Jack isn't already dead, which is a bonus.

I wil assume Marcus knows that "The silver half moon over Orion" means help me! So I will play along.

"Silver half moon over Orion" is when a cute green girl cuts a guys throat with a knife...

Marcus might not know that, but hopefully he'll understand the 15 minutes part...

at least you got a good look at my would-be assassin... (clues like this rarely fall into our laps, so I'm assuming this is the big break we need to figure out what the hell is going on.)

Jeff,

Do I need to roll a streetwise roll to see if MArcus understands Capt Jacks call forhelp? Or can We jsut assume he knows?

we could always guess that waking ANYONE up in this kind of situation and babbling anything about anything that doesn't make sense would warrant at least a go look see with a drawn phaser on stun...

Even if it's just for the amusement of watching Captain Jack with some lizard lady...

Anything that is ambiguous in terms of the setting, character locations, etc. is open to being defined by the players as they decide what they want to do-- whatever's fun, pushes the plot along, and/or that fits with the character concept is fine.

Some scenes are roll-heavy, some not so much. This one is currently roll-lite, though that can change depending on the action.

So... Marcus Kane is free to be Marcus Kane. Work him into the action however you think makes sense and I'll roll with it.

And remember, this isn't the first time that a woman put a knife to Captain Jack's throat...

Just remember to have Marcus break her in half if she cuts Captain Jack, Paul...

What happened to Marcus's action? He kicked the door in and shot at her and there is no mention of what happened.

The actions just happened-- they just didn't happen when you thought they had happened. Hopefully we're on the same page now...!
