GM waits for Marcus Kane to come up with a +1 bonus somewhere that the GM overlooked....
Wait... I think I got one...

Well... no.
Hilidarians do not have the +1 size modifier.
(The Slirdarians do, though... not that it matters here....)
Oh well....
I tried for you.

You also forgot the -5 for targeting the head. Is there jsut the head or can he aim for the upper torso?

I applied -2 for cover and -2 for darkness-- it's probably a bit of a break. [The GM screen was vague on how to handle that so I just picked something to fit the plot moreso than to fit a raw CAR WARS type wargame situation.]
You aren't really targeting "just the head" though-- you want to stun the dude however you can, so it's not really a called shot.
But you know... I did forget to add in your bonus for bracing, right?
Can you explain what bracing is... both in real life and the rules? [I don't have my books handy...]
If it makes sense, I'll be able to give you the shot.

If bracing gives a +1 to hit, then you nailed the turkey....

Bracing does give me +1 to hit. It is when you either use 2 hands to fire a pistol like weapon or lay your arm/weapon on a hard surface (i.e. a rock...) I says it somewhere in the campaigns under ranged attacks. So thenI nailed the turkey.....

Does Fred Mercury really have 200 pounds of gear...?
If so, it will take him almost a minute to walk to the place where that dude is...!

No... I thought we decided that he was in the combat armor, not the space suit. And that means the whole airtank and everything is... wherever the spacesuit is... (On the lizard? Bummer...)

I'll leave it like I ruled it, then-- -1 penalty to move for Light Encumbrance. I think that might hurt your dodge score, too? Yeah....

yep, sure does. Not as staight forward as it was in 3E, but if it's -1 Move, I'm sure it's -1 dodge as well. It's figuring out what that point is that's different.

Dodge is -1 per encumberance level.
Move is as follows:
light moveX0.8
Med MoveX0.6
HVY MoveX0.4
Xtra Heavy MoveX0.2

Yeah, that's it. Used to be -1 for both in 3E, I guess it didn't come out right with widely different moves and enhanced move and all the other goop.

Also... Flax...
If Fred Mercury dies in the next few game seconds...
How do you feel about playing Rokerig from here on out...?
Are you real attached to Fred...?

Meh. Death happens. I don't mind so much, I guess.
Although I'm not really sure I should continue. I'm having time issues, as seen here by me not noticing I didn't get emails alerting me for about forever. If I don't keep playing, perhaps this would be a good point to bow out.
No offense, the game is good, having fun, it's just getting tight here with the time, changing departments at work, found out my 'get the mold off the tub caulk' job turned into 're-drywall the whole bathroom', that sort of thing.

If you could hang on for one more big scene, we could at least say that we finished the adventure....
Though if Marcus Kane misses, ugly hits you with a good solid hit, and Captain Jack is slow with the first aid... it might really be over anyway. You shrugged off that last hit pretty well, though....
I'm impressed, anyway....
