Soooo... no CCM, or DNM, or BBM... :(

(note to self: Do Not send in prelimenary SSD submittals for other MY/GW bridging designs!)

Well, really, I was thinking more along the lines of calling the CC the CCM and trying to make the later CC have six photons by knocking the forward hull down from twelve boxes to ten boxes.

But, no, no CCM or BBM. For the record, the FJD DN already is the DNM, for all intents and purposes ...

Bah. Structural Integrity and power demands are waaaaay overrated. ::makes a note to check his SSD for the Fed BB when he gets home:: Now, how many hull can I strip out for more Photons...

Can we do that with lab boxes too? Cost more to repair, but are just as worthless

Like the DD upgrade where 4 labs were replaced with reactors, so you could actually shoot all your weapons and move at the same time.

There really was something like that?! Talk about efficient!

Let's not forget the entire story...the BPV of the DD went up as well.

...and it still wasn't perfect; you still had to choose between high speed and other demands. But then don't they all....except perhaps the 3rd-gen Romulan ships.

The Fed DD with 4 photons was fantastic in SFB for base assaults. Simply park at range 30 (in SFB max photon range was 30) and pump 4 proximity (only 4 damage for same power as normal photon but plus 2 to hit above range 8) photons at the base every other turn with a 1-3 change of hitting. Having 4 or 5 DDs doing this was devastating. Now of course this tactic does not work so will have to find a new use for the 'lolly pop'.

Would'nt the ph-4's still be effective at rng 30?

No you can still hit a target but they are not really effective. Plus if you concentrated all your P4 on one DD you still would not breach its Shield. So the next turn the other 4 DD keep firing Photons while one DD repairs it shields.

I've never heard it called a Lollypop before. That is hilarious. Of course, I find my sense of humor is a little skewed when I'm in the sand box. Booster 91 looks awesome. Can't wait to get back to the states and order one up.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of the Lollypop? 1, 2,...CRUNCH! Eww...was that your engine?
