Does that include Frax (I was just double checking what was in FCOL and noticed they have a decent range of ships, more than ISC/Vudar/Andro).

Yep, Frax are included! ISC/Vudar would be too, but the amount of ships for them in the client is really prohibitive at this time.

Here are the primary empires: (My wife and her lucky Sacajawea coin of doom was the tie-breaker. Basically, she didn't do any of you any favors. The Masters are pleased :-) )
Mojo- Klingons
Patton- Tholian
EricPhillips- Kzinti
Andromedan- Seltorian
Storeylf- Hydran
Jeffk88- Federation

Now I need you to send me your secondary empires. Remember, just put the one you want, since there can be repeats. (The Overseer is starting smell BLOOD. )

Already have three secondary empire picks in. Lets get the rest in to me asap.

I am working on a spreadsheet to help keep fleets organized, and make tracking them easier. Some of you have sent initial builds, which is fine, but these will need to be put into the spreadsheet when I get it finished.

The next step after choosing secondaries will be to choose map positions. I will upload the bare map later, and then I will decide what order you get to pick your home zones in.

I would be available as a Captain from time to time, if there is any need. Thanks,

Garrett

The order you get to choose is this:
Patton picks first
Jeffk88 second

Andromedan, you get whats left .
*Post in this thread what your choice is, and be sure to go in the order above*
I hope to have the spreadsheet ready by tomorrow for fleets etc.

Some questions

I've been reading the rules. I need some clarifications:

Does the home SB count toward the used EPs when determining your used EP?

Does a newly built base have to be an MB, or can I build a new base of any size?

Can you purchase units on any turn, or just on a turn with an economic phase?

The escort ships in a fleet for move 1+ ships are not assigned to a specific ship, right? You just need enough to cover the number of move 1+ ships, and if they are lost you can choose which 1+ ships to move to a friendly base?

Unlocking a waypoint uses an "occupy" order?

After unlocking all waypoints, can you eneter the center zone from any adjacent territory?

Thanx

Does the home SB count toward the used EPs when determining your used EP? Yes it does.

Does a newly built base have to be an MB, or can I build a new base of any size? It has to be a MB, which you can upgrade one step each turn after that.

Can you purchase units on any turn, or just on a turn with an economic phase? You can buy ships any turn as long as you have available EP and a base to deliver them to.

You just need enough to cover the number of move 1+ ships, and if they are lost you can choose which 1+ ships to move to a friendly base? Yes, yes, no, the whole fleet (or whats left of it) has to head back to base. That's why it is wise to have extra escorts in the fleet. Remember you cannot split up fleets outside the home zone.

Unlocking a waypoint uses an "occupy" order? Correct

After unlocking all waypoints, can you enter the center zone from any adjacent territory? Yes. And I imagine that you will be getting a ton of "diplomacy" requests right before this happens :-)

Thanx

Am I reading it right, that you start with 2000 pts, but have to allocate 600 pts to the SB, so only have 1400 pts to spend on actual ships?

Also as the hydran, does the SB have to purchase its stingers as well?
