The counters for Boosters #91 are found in Hydran Attack. However, if you have old SFB stuff, you can use those counters (at least for the 1/2" counters).

Boosters #91 through #95 were to be expansions to Hydran Attack, which includes all the counters for those five booster packs. Unfortunately, Boosters #91 (Franz Joseph ships) and #92 (Escort and Drone variants) did not sell as well as hoped. As a result, Boosters #94 and #95 (LTTs and Tugs) are being morphed into the new counterless Transports Attacked ship card/scenario pack. ADB still hopes to separately release Booster #93 (Command/Leader variants?) at some point.

In regard to the CA counters, keep in mind you could go with Klingon Space instead of Klingon Border (but if you play with big counters I'd go with Klingon Border to get the additional map panels). You could also just order the appropriate counter sheets directly from ADB. If you don't mind print and play, you could also just purchase the Federation #1 PDF Ship Pack from e23. The PDF file has both the counters and ship cards.

Thanks Jim. I realized that going to ADB website that under the respected game's spare parts link that all the parts that I need are there.

Now, I think I will get Romulan Border for the rules: Booster#91 for the Fed ships I want and then order the countersheets for that from ADB. I should be set then, unless I want the Klingons, which I am sure I eventually will.

Ill also get Briefing#2 Middle years for some scenarios. The only thing I am not sure of is the Map panels: somwhere on BGG it said that there are not enough for some scenarios......not sure of that.

Going to my local game store tomorrow to see what FC stuff he has in stock. Last I checked, he had quite a bit! :D

Not that this is the topic for it, but the current plan (*) is to take the CWLs from Booster 93 and the DWLs from the never-announced booster 96 and turn them into a product called Flagships Attack for Origins 2012.

(*) all of these "vague future plans" are subject to change without notice, complete with denial that such a plan ever existed in the first place, and that players should have been aware of some vague and obscure memo that mentined an entirely different plan.

OK guys/gals. One more thing: Just bought Booster#91(cause I love the old Federation ships) and the FC reference rulebook.

My question is: Is there any quality difference between FC KB and FC RB?

My gamestore has both in stock and it also has Romulan space, not Klingon space. I will also probably get Briefing#2 and will have to get from ADB the counters for Booster#91

Does this sound right? I still will spend in excess of 100USD though.... :(
Wife don't know..

My first two purchases were Klingon Border and Romulan Space. I figured if I need the extra map boards later, I can buy them. Those two items (KB and RS) were a very good starting point and saved me a few dollars. I have since put those dollars I saved toward more FC purchases.

I went the KB/RS route at first as well.

Been a long time since I bought KB and RS. If I remember right KB and RB both have the same rulebook except KB Rulebook has only the KB Ship Discriptions and Scenerios where as RB has the exact same rules but the Ship Discription contains only the RB Ships and RB Scenerios. When you order the Appropriate Space Set it will have only a 16 Page booklet with the Ship Descriptionsa and Scenerio to match the Border Pack it mimicks.

So in the end you have 1 Full Rulebook and one 16 Page Supplement Rulebook, 32 Ship Cards with matching counters and 2 mapboards, and I think you will also will have 2 Refrence Cards but can't remember for sure.

If you buy KB and RS, you will have everything included in KB and RB except an extra set of 2 reference cards, an extra set of the core rules text, an extra dry eraser marker, an extra set of paperclips, an extra set of dice, an extra box and an extra set of 6 map panels. KB itself provides two copies of the reference card.
