Still very, very busy with orders and development for Tenneshington, but I did make time to do the planning for another project that I hope to start soon.

I was inspired by Ian's kit-bashed Starline 2400 Federation DNW (new) war dreadnought.

I'm intending to do my own version, but using a Starline 2500 NCL as the basis.

I'll post a picture tonight, but the basic configuration is similar to Ian's. Mine however will keep all four nacelles aligned in pairs, vertically (much like the HDW), as personally I think that was the indication from the SFB SSD. To get enough mass into the rear hull, I went "long", whereas Ian went "wide". Artistic license, either way.

It's going to be a fun build and will probably be the first thing I do in my new workshop.

Here's where I'm going, in a rough sense (I bashed this image together using existing Mongoose/ADB renders). The rear (engineering) hull on my finished kitbash will be more rectangular and less streamlined - it seems like the wartime constructions don't bother as much with swoopy compound curves and use simpler and easier to fabricate shapes.
