I am impatient for notification that my order has shipped.

That's not asking anyone in this thread to do anything. I'm probably being unreasonably impatient.

And my money came about two weeks early so I'll be ordering the rest before the first order arrives, I think.

Which, I can live with.

I'm really impatient to get this game into my hands.

Im really looking forward to next week though.
Some REALLY big ships are coming to my house!

Okay, I ordered the whole game except maybe one booster (the Franz Joseph booster, which seems to be geared toward a specific set of miniatures).

Plus I'll have Captain's log 40-51.

Now I just need to figure out how many pocket page protectors I need.

If you are referring to ones for the Ship Cards,
the cards are numbered, so you just have to
pull out the latest Booster Pack and find the highest number card
in it.

Ah, then it will have to wait until I get the rest of the game. I think I currently have 80 ship cards with what I've already purchased, though.

Kinda. Not-really.

Those ships are all in one booster together more for licensing reasons (also convenient for those reasons to have the minis in one box too).

Booster 91 has a couple versions of the Federation "lollipop" DD destroyer, which is an iconic ship in the SFU setting and pretty vital to a lot of the scenarios converted from SFB. It also has the TT fleet tug; if you bought Transports Attacked you're missing one of the key tugs without it.

Do these ships have counters anywhere?

Yes. According to the master ship chart, they are in Hydran Attack and Reinforcements Attack.

I forgot to put "please consolidate with my first order today" in the special instructions but I sent Leanna an e-mail, so hopefully.

Leanna is usually 100% on her game. Since they pack and ship everything in-house, I'd bet it will get done as long as the order hasn't actually gone into the UPS van.

I get the impression that packing up my order will be a bit more complicated than that. I ordered 32 boosters, every expansion, and several Captain's Logs. I think I came close to 50 items, and 32 of them are packs of 8 loose ship cards each.

Plus I didn't get any notification today that my order was shipped out.

And are the Captain's Logs print on demand or am I thinking of something else?

If they list it on the store, it's usually already printed, bound, and ready to ship.

Pretty much nothing at ADB is "print on demand" in the sense of the term that some other companies use it (those companies mean PoD for the customer). They helped pioneer PoD for the publishing industry, so they can print what they need in-house, without going to an outside offset print company (it's PoD on their demand/need). Items they do in-house (which is pretty much everything, since the early 00s) they keep stock on-hand to cover usual demand.

Captain's Log issues have color covers, so they are definitely already pre-made and waiting on the shelves. (Color covers and laminated ship cards and counters are the only things they don't print in-house, nowadays).

Some other companies don't actually print your copy until you pay (truly print-on-demand for the consumer), but then if they have a glitch or run out of paper, the customer's order is delayed until they solve their problems (but they already took your $, not very fair).

Well anyway, my last order took about six days from putting in the order to it shipping and I assume it was a matter of: Other orders took precedence, and my order took some time to assemble (because of all the loose ship cards).

And this is like four times the size.
