Stumbling in, he looks closely at the situation.

"Is that one of your grilfrienz, Jack," he slurs. "You want I should come back later? You do know about the tie on the doorhandle thing, don't you? You put that up and then I don't come in when you got a girl." Looking at the lizard, he says, "You are a girl reptile people, right?" a bit unsteadily. "No offense, you kinda all look alike to me."

He is not, however, wasted enough to ignore the knife, even if it is a toy for fun... He gets a weapon ready, just in case, preferably one with a stun setting.

Captain Jack says "Hi Fred... Yes, this is an old friend, and we're just playing around a little, right friend?"

"Well, long as I interrupted you already, 's all right if I grab somethin?"

He heads over to his stuff.

The lizard-girl snuggles closer to Captain Jack while surreptitiously hiding the knife from view with a pillow-- she doesn't think Fred has seen it.

...

Then the smoochin' starts....

and, of course, Captain Jack being the rogue he is, tries to enjoy the smoochin' until Fred steps out.

"Yeah Fred, you defiantly caught us at a bad time... You might want to ask Marcus about the 'silver half moon over orion' in about 15 minutes..."

"Right," he says, pointing a towel accusingly at him. "Ain't got no tie, so you make sure you take this towel off the door. I'm gonna tell Marcus you said to crash at his place, I don't want him pissed at me, it's all your fault."

He heads over to where Marcus is staying, and knocks. If he answers, he tells him, "Man, Jack is just one kinky mother. I didn't think he had it in him. What's the the silver moon half on Orion, anyhow? It got anything to do with screwing lizards? Oh, I need a place to crash for now. Blame Jack."

With Fred gone, the lizard-girl is suddenly all business.

She spits a few times and then mutters under her breath, "disgusting mammalian garbage... yeck!"

She clears her voice.

"All right, you filth. You and your friends were the last people I saw with my grandfather. He was dead when I returned. Why did you do it? You didn't even take anything! He was just an old man!"

She shakes you violently as she demands an answer. Her command of the english idiom appears to be weak enough that she's missed the subtle code-words you've employed with Fred....

Captain Jack tries to explain:

"Who was your grandfather, X'al Fen? We were working for a Andorian known as Tarsh that X'al Fen was supposed to meet. X'al Fen didn't show up, and Tarsh sent us looking for him.
When we got there, someone else already killed X'al Fen. We've been looking for that assassin ever since."

"Also, someone killed Tarsh as well, which I'm sure is related."

"Let's work together and find these assassins and figure out what they're up to! "

Upon hearing the knock at the door Marcus grumbles and gets up and grabs his phaser. He looks out the peep hole. When he sees its Fred he sighs and opens the door. When he hears what Fred has to says his eyes go wide and he pushes past him heading for Captain Jacks room setting his phaser to heavy stun. (Assuming Jacks door is unlocked) He will push the door open and fire on the Reptilian female on Jack aiming for the torso. Using all out attack determined and hoping for the best!

Following along behind, he asks some inane questions like, "What? What it mean, silver moons on Orion? What'd he do?" He does, however, have the phaser rifle ready by the time they get there.

Skexis wakes up in the room next door and bursts in. He snarls when he sees what's going on and tenses to spring.

The lizard-girl is not amused at the new feline arrival:

"Not so fast! Make one false move, and I'll slit his throat...! Back off, now! I mean it!"

Captain Jack says: "Thanks for the save Marcus, but that wasn't 15 minutes... let's all calm down, put down knives and phasers and talk this out... I have a feeling we're after the same goons and if we work together, we can get these bastards...."

"Hey, he never let me get to the 15 minute part." Pointing the phase rifle at the girl, he says, "Presuming you're going to do something bad to him anyway if I put this down, I prefer to keep it, thank you. However, since he seems inclined to talk, I'm not going to shoot you right away."

He leans against the wall. "You have a few options here. The one about doing what you came for, and leaving without anyone knowing, is gone. The one about slitting his throat will have that big cat-guy ripping your guts out and eating them. Bringing a knife to a gun fight tends to limit the others. Mine is set to stun, so there's no reason not to blast you into next week, except that he's asking me not to." He nods at Jack. "So, please lower your knife from his throat, and talk with the man as he requested. I'm curious myself why I'm not stunning you, and I see this as the only way we might not turn you in for assault with a deadly weapon.

"Please, continue your discussion," he says, sitting across the room from them, on his bed, slowly, rifle still pointed at her.

I think you meant Skexis. Jeffro didn't say anything about MArcus's action yet. i think everyone is getting ahead of themselves here.
