Okay...
Skexis is not moving. That's good from the lizard-girl's perspective. [Also... Marcus and Fred haven't barged back in, yet.]
Captain Jack gets her to calm down and talk some more. She reveals that she was at her Grandfather's house earlier today, but slipped out. [That would have been about the time you went to investigate the noises you heard.] When she came back, she found her grandfather murdered... with signs that he might have been tortured. She still thinks you did it... but she does mention off hand that she thinks she saw a lithe figure-in-black leaving the scene about the time she got there....

Captain Jack is ticked: "Yet another figure in black killing people... what the heck is going on? So the question now, where is Rokerig? He seems to be in the middle of all of this? I think if we find him and see what he's been up to, this will make more sense."

"Slow down, Marcus. Whatever color the moon over Orion is, he said to tell you in 15 minutes. Or he said, it'd be silver in 15 minutes, or something like that. Anyhow, if it means trouble, it means he thinks he can sort it out, but wants backup in case he can't. Fifteen minutes... probably have his butt handed to him by a girl by then." He chuckles. He tells Marcus all about what happened, and the girl lizard. "At least, I think it was a girl. They got different colors and are smaller, but I don't really know what colors. It would be funny if guy lizards used pink... Anyhow, hopefully he's not really doing her... that's just kinky, you ask me."

Okay... *now* is the time that Fred and Marcus burst in-- just as the lizard-girl has calmed down a bit...!
[Marcus] will push the door open and fire on the Reptilian female on Jack aiming for the torso. Using all out attack determined and hoping for the best!
Okay... first Marcus must make a Stealth roll to get in without alerting the lizard-girl.
[12 or less for Stealth roll (3d6=12)]
She didn't notice him!
Okay... he takes the shot...!
[14 or less for pistol shot(s)... plus whatever the bonus is for all-out determined (3d6=10)]
Okay... definitely a hit. I'm assuming this is a stun. She was hit by... what... three phaser shots due to the ROF rules? (Will double check later.)
[three HT rolls at maybe some penalty (3d6=12, 3d6=13, 3d6=7)]
Okay... I'm pretty sure she's totally stunned. Have to double check the rules & stats, but I'm pretty sure.
Now what?

Putting away the rifle, he gets out his rope and starts to tie her up.
"You do want her tied up, right?" he asks, taking the knife she had. "I mean, like for other reasons, like she might be dangerous or something...?"

"Yeah, tie her up... dang it... She's going to freak when I wake her. "
Captain Jack goes into his small bag of misc. stuff and pulls out an old star fleet issued med kit, and pulls out the hypo with the anti-stun loaded into it.
"I better wake her up and apologize... we're starting to get somewhere."

She's tied up, now.
As she begins to come to, she seems to be a little groggy and maybe a bit cranky.
What now?

Captain Jack starts to talk to her.
"Sorry about that, once I know you're not going to freak out, we're going to untie you. My man Marcus here was just worried since you had a knife to my throat. So let's start over, Where is Rokerig?"

After everyone explaining everything they know (and getting the details far more correct than what any of us are likely to do off the cuff) the lizard-girl becomes very concerned about her brother Rokerig:
"From what you say, these goons must be trying to find some sort of artifact-- and they must think Rokerig has it! He left on a hunting expedition very suddenly a couple days ago." [She gives you a few more details. Based on the timing that she states, it would have been in time to cancel with X'al Fen before his fateful meeting with Tarsh the next day. See below.] "I have to warn him that he is in danger...! He is deep in the desert. I have to find him...!"
the GM's complementary wayback machine service wrote:[The appointment book has an expected entry for earlier this evening: "8:30 Tarsh Banshee Piece." For yesterday, it says "9:45 Rokerig Banshee $40,000," but it is crossed out and next to it is scrawled, "Cancelled-- Rechedule-- Top Priority."]

Captain Jack unties her if that wasn't already done.
"Let all go find Rokerig, incase we get jumped on the way out or back."
And then Captain Jack grabs his desert camping pack, and makes sure all his water containers are filled. (and swaps charge cells in his phasers.)

"Jack if we are going to find this Roking guy We are all going to need supplies like you got. Let's go shoppig now!"

"I'm always prepared... anyway, there's a little supply shop down the street where we can pick up quick. I've done the desert thing here before, it's harsh, so conserve your water and your strength. "

"Fine, you come with us and act as our outfitter." he looks at the lizard lady,"Sorry for phasing you....you did have a knife at my co-workers throat...No hard feelings...eh"
