I'd love to see the LDR version!! Hmm... replace the drone racks with ESGs, the 360-degree phasers with Gatlings. Leave the photons as-is, because the Federation supports the freedom-loving people of the Lyran Democratic Republic, of course.
There you have it, a completely un-munchkin, balanced LDR ship.

Well, communique is pretty much an FC newsletter, although I hear rumors that Jean wants to discuss some kind of revamped Communique during her Christmas visit.

That would be great!
Starmada is so much fun, I would love to see some more support for it. Communique might be a good vehicle for all of the "new" games.

Steve, Jean, I just wanted to say I just discovered these files today. I had no idea! I am completely floored once again with the awesome way you handle your fan base!
You can make little hiccups, computers may be down/up/whatever, this is still, by far, the coolest thing ever! New ships and scenarios for free! You guys seriously rock!
Seriously: Don't let the complaints get to you, for every person that squeaks, there are 10 of us who are happy as clams and simply don't realize we need to tell you that.
So, I'm anti-squeaking.
And downloading all the back-Communiques...

Jean says to be sure you downloaded Communique 72R not Communique 72 because Communique 72 has a mis-spelled word that was corrected in Communique 72. At this point in time, the copy on the website is 72R.
