Fall 2012 FCOL Tourney: Info, Announcements and Deadlines

Signups as of 9/27/2012:

2. Jim Dauphinais -- Federation NCA, NCL

3. M1A1DAT -- Lyran 2 x NCA

4. Terryoc -- Seltorian BCH, CL

5. Patrick Doyle -- To be determined

6. Ncrcalamine -- Romulan (preliminarily)

7. Monty -- Gorn

8. cornelius0791 -- Lyran

9. Storeylf -- Orion Pirates

I will accept one more player up until Saturday the 29th in order to get an even 10 players. Otherwise, we will go forward with 9 players.

I am still waiting for final empire selections from Patrick and Ncrcalamine.

Finally, I have updated the tournament rules above to correct the leader purchase restrictions and the rules for winning a round.

Ship selections are due today.

If you have not already done so, please forward your ship selections to me ASAP.

Please also remember to check that your selected ships are legal under the tournament rules and properly working in the FC Online client.

The KD5R has only been in Communique so far. So, it is not legal for the current tournament. Nicole has selected a King Eagle (140) to replace it.

Jim and all players,

in light of the fact that there are 3 Fed Players, I'd be willing to bring a Tholian force:

1 NCA
2 PCs.

I think it would make for a slightly more interesting tournament:
My force would have 2 Web Casters, only 4 disruptors, but 15 Phaser-1s.

At the deadline to announce our fleets, I realized that my original Tholian force was illegal (2 Web CAs), so pressed for time, I chose the Feds (always my fallback position).

I am happy to proceed with my Fed force as chosen, but if everyone would prefer the variety, I'd switch to the Tholians.

It appears we will have two changes.

Monty's squadron is likely overpointed. He brought it to my attention earlier today. There appears to be an error in the Master Ship Chart for the Gorn CLE. It appears to still show a playtest value of 122 points rather than the final Laminated Ship Card #925 value of 142 points.
